Seven Tampa Bay Area Supervisors of Elections To Gather To Announce Support of State’s New “Get Out the Vote” Effort

Each Supervisor to address individual county’s perspective and demo voting systems

WHAT:
Seven county Supervisors of Elections from across West Central Florida will host a joint press conference to voice support for a statewide “Get Out The Vote” initiative and to pledge their commitment to conducting successful elections in 2004.

Gilder Elections Service Center near Brandon to discuss the state’s voter registration effort, their own voter outreach programs, new early voting options, and to display the voting systems they will use in the upcoming Primary and General Elections.

The unusual joint press conference will be held simultaneously with a media event that Florida Secretary of State Glenda Hood is conducting in Tallahassee to announce the state’s Get Out The Vote effort and the involvement of the state’s 67 county Supervisors of Elections.
