Two Longboat Key Precincts are Consolidated
and
One Precinct Renumbered

(SARASOTA, FL, January 8, 2003) – Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent announces that Longboat Key Precinct 140 has been consolidated into Precinct 19, and Precinct 154 has been renumbered as Precinct 140.

The changes are due to the completion of construction at a polling location and technical requirements regarding how precincts are numbered.

During the renovation of Longboat Key Town Hall, Precinct 19 met with Precinct 140 at All Angels by the Sea Episcopal Church. With construction complete, Precinct 19 returns to Longboat Key Town Hall, 501 Bay Isles Rd., Longboat Key, Fla., 34228-3196, and is joined there by the former Precinct 140.

The current Precinct 154 has been renumbered as Precinct 140. The polling location for these voters remains unchanged at Fraternal Order of Police, 3600 Circus Boulevard, Sarasota, Fla., 34232-1339.
