Sarasota County supervisor of elections offers early voting for Florida House District 55 primary and general elections

(SARASOTA, FL,) Eligible voters may vote early in the March 25, 2008 Florida House District 55 Special Primary beginning Monday, March 17 and continuing through Saturday, March 22. Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent announced today. Early voting for the April 15, 2008 Special General Election will run from Monday, April 7 through Saturday, April 12.

Only voters residing in House District 55 are eligible to vote in these elections. House District 55 includes Precincts 18, 28, 31, 75, 76, 77, 83, 119 and 153.

Voters may cast their ballots at the supervisor of elections office in the Terrace Bldg, 2001 Adams Lane, Sarasota, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day of early voting for both elections.

Florida Law requires voters to present photo and signature ID in order to vote at the polls. A voters who appears at the polls without photo and signature ID will be allowed to vote a provisional ballot.
