Sarasota County supervisor of elections offers early voting for Holiday Park and Longboat Key elections

(SARASOTA, FL,) Early voting for the March 11 Holiday Park Park & Recreation District will begin Monday, February 25, 2008 and continue through Sunday, March 9, 2008, Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent announced today.

Eligible Holiday Park voters may cast their ballots at the SOE office in North Port, Biscayne Plaza, 13640 Tamiami Trail, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sundays, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

Early voting for the March 18 Longboat Key election will begin Monday, March 3, 2008 and continue through Sunday, March 16, 2008.

Eligible Town of Longboat Key voters may vote early at the Longboat Key Town Hall Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and on Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. 

Florida Law requires voters to present photo and signature ID in order to vote at the polls. If you appear to vote without current and valid ID, you will be allowed to vote a provisional ballot.
