Division of Elections to proceed with audit

The State of Florida will begin the audit, requested by Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent, of Sarasota County's touch screen voting system on Tuesday, November 28.

Circuit Court Judge Deno G. Economou cleared the way for the audit to proceed when he lifted the stay he ordered last week.

The audit process will take place at the Supervisor of Elections voting equipment facility at the county's Interim Government Operations Center, 1001 Sarasota Center Blvd. The process is open to the public.
