Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections announces extended voter registration hours prior to book closing

(Sarasota, FL, October 6, 2006) - Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent announces that, as an added service to voters, her three offices will be open until midnight on Tuesday, October 10 - the deadline to register to vote in the November 7 general election.

Voters who need to register or update their voter registration records may do so at Supervisor of Elections offices in the Terrace Building, 2001 Adams Lane, Sarasota; the R.L. Anderson Administration Building, 4000 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, and at the North Port office in Biscayne Plaza, 13640 Tamiami Trail.
