NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE SARASOTA COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD DISTRICT 2

Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent announces a vacancy for Sarasota County School Board Member District 2, as a result of the resignation to run for other elected office submitted by the present District 2 School Board member. The vacancy will be filled in the Primary Election, on September 5, 2006, and runoff in the General Election November 7, 2006, if necessary.

The winner will complete the term of office for School Board Member District 2 ending November 2008.

Qualifying papers and qualifying fees must be received from 12:00 noon, July 17, 2006, through 12 noon, July 21, 2006, at the administrative office of the Supervisor of Elections, 101 S. Washington Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34236.
