Sarasota County supervisor of elections offers early voting

( SARASOTA , FL , February 17, 2006 ) – Early voting for the March 14, 2006 , Sarasota County School Board Special Referendum, Town of Longboat Key General, and Holiday Park Park and Recreation District elections will begin Monday, February 27 and continue through Sunday, March 12, Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent announced today.

Eligible voters may vote early on touch screen voting machines at any one of the three SOE offices in Sarasota (Terrace Bldg, 2001 Adams Lane), Venice (R.L. Anderson Administration Bldg, 4000 Tamiami Trail South), North Port (Biscayne Plaza, 13640 Tamiami Trail), or at the Longboat Key Town Hall, 501 Bay Isles Road, Longboat Key.

Early voting hours at all locations will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturdays, March 4 and March 11, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sundays, March 5 and March 12.
