Sarasota County supervisor of elections offers early voting

(SARASOTA, FL, October 14, 2005) - Early voting for the November 8, 2005, Sarasota County Special Referenda and City of Venice Elections will begin October 24 and continue through November 7, Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent announced today.

Early voting hours at all three supervisor of elections offices will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday mornings, October 29 and November 5; and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday afternoons, October 30 and November 6.

Eligible voters may vote early on touch screen voting machines at any one of the three SOE offices in Sarasota (Terrace Bldg, 2001 Adams Lane), Venice (R.L. Anderson Administration Bldg, 4000 Tamiami Trail South), and North Port (Biscayne Plaza, 13640 Tamiami Trail).
