Full Color Screen -
The iVotronic screen is the main interface for voters. It has full color capabilities and displays ballots, pictures, and multiple languages.

Personalized Electronic Ballot -
The portable data bank which holds the ballot styles for the election. This can be programmed to carry images, text, and also multiple languages.

The PEB is inserted by the pollworker, which downloads the appropriate ballot for the voter into the iVotronic. When the initial screen comes up, the PEB is removed and the voter will follow the on-screen instructions to begin voting.

Finger Touch -
The iVotronic system has a touchscreen which is used to select the choices when you vote. The pressure required to select your choices is comparable to using the touchpad on a microwave.

Audio Capabilities -
The iVotronic touchscreen is fully ADA compliant. The voter is equipped with a headphone to insure total privacy when voting.

If a voter with a disability needs assistance voting, the pollworker can take them over to the iVotronic and set them up with headphones and then insert the PEB (Personal Electronic Ballot) which will activate the audio ballot functionality. This allows the voter to "hear" the ballot with a built-in advanced synthesized voice. The ballot is read and the voter is prompted to select their choices. They then use the navigation buttons which are clearly marked with Braille located along the bottom of the iVotronic (see figure #3). Selection of the desired choice is accomplished by the voter pressing the selection button (see figure #4) located conveniently next to the navigation buttons and clearly marked with Braille.

VOTE Button -
The VOTE button finalizes the voter's selections and casts his/her vote, then clears the screen in preparation for the next voter.

Upon proper selection of choices, the voter is brought to a summary screen which displays those choices on each item on the ballot. At this time, the voter can make changes by touching the ballot item on the summary screen, whereby they will go back to that item to review or change a choice. When finished, the review screen reflects the updated selections. The iVotronic will review the ballot for any races for which the voter did not cast a vote (undervote), and asks if this is the intent of the voter. Upon selection of "YES", the VOTE button will illuminate and the voter will be prompted to press the button to cast the ballot. If the undervote question is answered "NO", then the voter will have the opportunity to return to the ballot and make a choice. At this time the voter can review the summary screen and press the VOTE button to cast the ballot.
