Early Voting Scheduled for Town of Longboat Key Preliminary Election |

| (SARASOTA, FL) Early voting for the January 26, 2010 Town of Longboat Key Preliminary Election will begin on Friday, January 15 and continue through Friday, January 22, withh the exception of Monday, January 18, Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent announced today. Early voting will not be conducted on January 18 due to the Martin Luther King Holiday. During the early voting period, eligible voters may cast their ballots at the Longboat Key Town Hall, 501 Bay Isles Road, Longboat Key, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Florida Law requires voters to present photo and signature ID upon entering the polling place and prior to voting. A voter who appears at the polls without photo and signature ID will be allowed to vote a provisional ballot.
